Set on the Giza Plateau, just off the Cairo/Alexandria road, Pyramid Hills was launched in 2007. With less than 100 homes, the cosy compound sold all of its properties within its first three years. While its low number of official residents would seem normal in comparison to other developments in the area, Pyramid Hills itself cannot be compared to its neighbouring projects since its intelligent use of landscape, picturesque homes and abundant amenities invariably set it apart.
In an ideal location, Pyramid Hills is near two main roads leading to the city, leaving the concrete jungle of downtown Cairo close enough to conveniently be reached, yet far enough to disconnect from the bustle. The neighbourhood itself is flourishing with several hotels and respected schools nearby, as well as countless food and shopping outlets. Set to open in 2015, the upcoming Grand Egyptian Museum, considered as one of the largest archaeological museums in the world, will be around the corner as well.
Upon entering Pyramid Hills, one is initially presented with a sense of calm. There are no looming buildings with ornate detailing, the cobble-stoned roads are neat and straightforward, and the landscaping itself is vibrant yet equally subdued, blending perfectly with its natural surroundings. Essentially sprawled across a plateau, its vantage point of the city below only adds to the sense of tranquillity and invites visitors to further investigate the premises.

The Facilities

A unique Lifestyle

Pyramid Hills environment has an ambience of coolness and calm to it. Tranquil and scenic with forest formations, quiet pathways shaded by mature trees. Beautifully landscaped and carefully tended gardens and a profusion flowers, Pyramid Hills sets the tone for a unique lifestyle.

On the south-west corner of the property a service area has been designated to house the compound’s electro- mechanical facilities, Pyramid Hills also grants its tenants 24 hour maintenance and security services.

The grounds have also been enhanced with a number of recreational amenities including walkways, paved jogging loops, bicycle lanes, soccer court, tennis courts, a multi purpose court, a children playground, a fitness center and restaurants.

The Master Plan

From the beginning, we clearly emphasized our priorities to a short-list group of reputable architects. Our objective was to impact the market with new ideas that differentiate our project from all possible competitors. Great attention was given to “privacy”, “comfort” and “uniqueness”. Only through this brain storming process, were we able to decide on the final master plan we have today.

By making use of the natural variance of the existing contours we decided to carve the sloping land into stepping platforms of 3 to 4 meters high. Along the West side of the development and parallel to the planned new highway, we have added another buffer zone garden to minimize any possible noise from that direction and to add more greenery to our project. On the Southwest corner, we’ve planned to have a service area hosting some of our electro-mechanical facilities as well as a soccer field, Tennis Courts, multi-purpose court and a children playground with a Cafeteria serving this area.
